Getting Started with Divi Teams

Learn about Divi Teams, a new foundation that improves collaboration and efficiency across the Divi Ecosystem.

Updated over 4 months ago

Divi Teams empowers you to invite team members to your Elegant Themes account while giving you full control over their permissions. You can grant access to essential products and services like Divi, including the ability to generate and manage API Keys, as well as Premium Support, Divi Cloud, Divi AI, and Divi Dash. This ensures your entire team can collaborate efficiently and effectively while building websites for your clients.

Each of your team members gets an account with a username and password, along with the ability to manage the parts of their account (or the accounts of their fellow team members) that you give them access to.

Each Team Member Gets an Account With Access to All Divi Services

Divi Teams - Colaborate with your team

Your team members inherit the full benefits of your Elegant Themes account, including premium support, Divi Cloud storage, Divi AI, the ability to create and manage API Keys, and access to downloads, all for a fraction of the cost of a normal membership.

This allows teams to work together and properly delegate tasks without the account owning serving as a bottleneck.

  • Your designers can access Divi and use Divi Cloud.

  • Your developers can set up new websites and generate API keys.

  • Your accountant can access billing records.

Furthermore, everyone can contact our support team and access our support services. With the release of Divi Dash, you can also set different permissions for any team member added to your team to help manage your Divi Dash sites.

Note: The support for products in the Divi Marketplace is still limited to the main account owner since support in the marketplace isn’t provided by our team.

How to Start Using Divi Teams

After purchasing Divi Teams, your next step is to invite members to your team. Once an invitation has been confirmed, you can assign Permissions and customize each Member's role.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I remove seats after I have purchased them?

Yes, you can remove seats at any time, which will affect your next renewal payment amount. During each renewal period, you are charged for the number of team seats you choose.

Can I purchase more seats in the middle of a billing cycle?

Yes, you can add new seats at any time and as your team grows. The unused days in the current billing cycle are prorated, and the Divi Teams renewal price is adjusted accordingly.

Do I have to purchase Divi Cloud for everyone on my team?

Nope. All of your team members automatically inherit access to the Divi services you have purchased. If you have subscribed to Div Cloud, all of your team members will get their own Divi Cloud account with unlimited storage.

Can my team members see my payment information?

You choose which of your team members has access to the account owner’s billing area. Only the last four digits of your credit card are visible to team members with billing access.

Can team members see all other members of my team?

You choose which team members can see other team members. For example, if you want to add a client to your team to give them access to our support services but don’t want them to interact with your web design team, you can disable their team view permission.

Will my team members be able to delete items from my Divi Cloud?

No, all team members have their own Divi Cloud accounts. In the future, you will be able to share access to your Divi Cloud library with team members if you so choose.

Why should I pay to add clients to my team?

Giving clients their own Elegant Themes account is a great way to give them a better Divi experience at a fraction of the cost of a normal membership. Each of your clients will have their own set of API Keys, which are clearly separated and manageable by your team. Clients on your team will be able to contact our support team when they run into problems instead of contacting you!
