In rare cases, the page's content or layout may be completely missing or removed during the Publish or Update process.
To recover the missing content or layout, follow the steps below:
Using the WordPress Revision System
WordPress provides the Revision System out of the box, which can be used to recover any lost content.
Go to WordPress Dashboard β Pages β All Pages
Edit the page that lost the content or layout
From the right sidebar, click on the Revisions link
Use the History timeline to restore a previous revision. You can navigate through the timeline using the Previous/Next buttons
Once you find the revision you need, click on the Restore This Revision button
Notes:
The left column (red) shows the things that have been removed.
The right column (green) shows the things that have been added.
Using Divi's History System
Note: This can be used only if the browser tab containing the page with the Visual Builder was not closed before.
Click on the Three dots icon to expand the Builder's Toolbar
Click on the History icon to open the History panel
Click on the most recent history in the History Panel
Using the hosting's backup system
Any modern web hosting has a backup system. In this case, the hosting backup (if any) can be used to roll back to a previous state.
If none of the previous methods help, try contacting your hosting company and asking them to roll back any available backups.
Important Note: The backup should be no older than 1 day (24 hours). Once the backup is restored, everything done after that date will be lost.
