How to Import Elements from Divi Cloud

Importing elements from Divi Cloud allows you to seamlessly add your saved Page Layouts, Sections, Rows, Modules, and Code Snippets into any Divi site.

This feature provides a convenient way to access your design assets, ensuring consistency and saving time when building new pages or updating existing ones.

This article will guide you through the steps to import elements from Divi Cloud, making enhancing your website with your favorite designs easy.

Definition:

  • Divi Elements - Any Page Layout, Section, Row, Module or Code Snippet.

Divi Cloud, like Divi Library, is contextual. That means a saved Page Layout, Section, Row, Module, or Code Snippet can only be imported using the Add icon in the correct context.

Import a Page Layout from Divi Cloud

  1. Create a new page or edit an existing page and enable the Visual Builder

  2. Expand the Visual Builder's Toolbar by clicking on the Ellipsis icon

  3. Click on the Insert Layout icon

  4. Choose the Saved Layout option

  5. (optional) Filter the Locations by clicking on the My Divi Cloud checkbox

  6. (optional) Use the Search filter to search through your Layouts

  7. (optional) Use the Categories Filter to filter your Layouts

  8. (optional) Use the Tags Filter to Filter your Layouts

  9. Click on the Layout you want to Import

  10. Click on the Use This Layout button

Note: If the Replace Existing Content option is checked, the imported layout will replace your current page layout.

If you want the imported layout to be placed after your current page layout, ensure that the Replace Existing Content option is unchecked.

Import a Section from Divi Cloud

  1. Create a new page or edit an existing page and enable the Visual Builder

  2. Click on the Add New Section icon

  3. Click on Add From Library Tab

  4. (optional) Filter the Locations by clicking on the My Divi Cloud checkbox

  5. (optional) Use the Search filter to search through your Sections

  6. (optional) Use the Categories Filter to filter your Sections

  7. (optional) Use the Tags Filter to Filter your Sections

  8. Click on the Section you want to Import

  9. Click on the Use This Section button

Important Note: If you use the Add New Section  icon, only Section elements will be displayed, even if other elements, such as Page Layouts, Rows, and Modules, are saved on Divi Cloud.

Import a Row from Divi Cloud

  1. Create a new page or edit an existing page and enable the Visual Builder

  2. Click on the Add New Row icon

  3. Click on Add From Library Tab

  5. (optional) Use the Search filter to search through your Rows

  6. (optional) Use the Categories Filter to filter your Rows

  7. (optional) Use the Tags Filter to Filter your Rows

  8. Click on the Row you want to Import

Important Note: If you use the Add New Row icon, only Row elements will be displayed, even if other elements, such as Page Layouts, Sections, and Modules, are saved on Divi Cloud.

Import a Module from Divi Cloud

  1. Create a new page or edit an existing page and enable the Visual Builder

  2. Click on the Add New Module icon

  3. Click on Add From Library Tab

  6. (optional) Use the Categories Filter to filter your Modules

  7. (optional) Use the Tags Filter to Filter your Modules

  8. Click on the Module you want to Import
