The comments section is vital to engaging with your audience and fostering community interaction on your website.
If it is missing from your WordPress pages, it can hinder communication and reduce visitor engagement.
In this article, we will guide you through the process of fixing the missing comments section on WordPress pages, which are disabled by default.
Enable comments on a WordPress page using Guttenberg Editor
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Pages → All Pages
Edit the Page for which you want to enable the Comments section
In the right sidebar, locate the Discussion option.
Check the Allow Comments option to enable comments for that specific page
Enable comments on a WordPress page using the Classic Editor
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Pages → All Pages
Edit the Page for which you want to enable the Comments section
In the Discussion section, enable the Allow comments option
Note: If you are not seeing the Discussion section, click on the Screen Options button at the top right corner and ensure that the Discussion option is enabled:
Ensure that Divi is set to show comments on Pages
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Divi → Theme Options → Layout → Single Page Layout
Enable the Show Comments on Pages option
Add the Comments module to a page using Divi Builder
After completing the above steps, to add the Comments section to a page that already is using the Divi Builder, follow these steps
Edit the Page to which you want to add the Comments section
Enable the Visual Builder
Insert a new Row where you want to display the Comments section
Add the Comments module
