Updated this week

Ensuring your website is accessible and user-friendly for right-to-left (RTL) language speakers is crucial for reaching a global audience.

In this article, we will guide you through the process of changing your website language to support RTL languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian.

Set the website language

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard β†’ Settings β†’ Site Language

  2. From the dropdown, select the RTL language that you need, such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, etc

WordPress - Set the site language

Note: if some of the modules still have the LTR format, please check the Design Tab of each of those modules and make sure the Text Alignment is either set to Default or Right Alignment.

Set the language for each user

If you have multiple WordPress users and some of them do not speak Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, or other RTL languages, follow these steps to set their language:

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard β†’ Users

  2. Edit each username for which you need to set a different language

  3. From the Langauge dropdown, select the user's language
