The Divi Dropdown module lets you add interactive dropdown menus anywhere in your layout without complex interaction setup.
When you place a Dropdown module inside a parent element, it automatically ties its visibility to that parent, so the Dropdown menu opens on hover or click.
Inside the dropdown, you can add simple link lists or full rows and modules to build custom mega menus that match your site design.

The Divi Dropdown Module Use Cases
Simple hover dropdown under a Link menu: You create a custom header with a row of Link modules for your top-level navigation. Under one of those links, you add a Dropdown module as a child. Inside the dropdown, you add a stack of Link modules for subpages. Because the dropdown is tied to its parent, hovering or clicking the main link reveals the submenu automatically, giving you a classic dropdown menu without manually wiring interactions.
Multi-column mega menu: You can design a wide mega menu that appears under a "Services" or "Shop" Link. Inside a Dropdown module, you can add one or more rows and divide them into columns. Each column can hold headings, Link modules, icons, or even product promos and CTAs. The dropdown acts as a blank canvas, so you can arrange any modules you like, turning the module into a fully custom mega menu panel that opens when users interact with the parent menu item.
Nested dropdowns in an off-canvas mobile menu: You build an off-canvas mobile menu using canvases and a menu loop. For main sections like "Account" or "More," you can place a Dropdown module under each top-level link. Inside each dropdown, you can add secondary links, icons, or quick actions. On mobile, tapping the parent link toggles its dropdown, letting visitors drill into nested menu levels without leaving the panel, while you keep full control over spacing, typography, and icons.
