How to Organize Your Divi Cloud Items

Learn about best practices in organizing and managing all of your Divi Cloud items.

Updated over 4 months ago

All the Divi elements (Page Layouts, Sections, Rows, Modules, and Code Snippets) that are saved to Divi Cloud can be organized using Categories and Tags.

In addition to Categories and Tags, you can also mark an element or multiple elements (Page Layouts, Sections, Rows, Modules, and Code Snippets) as favorites.

Within Divi Cloud, you can edit, delete, rename, recategorize, preview, duplicate, and restore Divi Library items from trash both locally and on the Cloud.

Search For Cloud Items

Divi Cloud also integrates a Search functionality that can quickly filter all Divi elements (Page Layouts, Sections, Rows, Modules, and Code Snippets) saved in the Cloud or locally in Divi Library.

Important Note: The Search Results in Divi Cloud will only display items that match the context in which you're working. For example, if you add a Page Layout, the Search Results will only show Page Layouts that match your search keywords and are saved in the Divi Cloud. Similarly, if you add a Section, the Search Results will only display sections that match your search keywords and are saved in the Divi Cloud.

  1. Enable the Visual Builder on any page.

  2. Click the Add icon on the Divi toolbar at the bottom of the page to bring up your Divi Library.

  3. Click on the Your Save Layouts tab.

  4. Use the Search field to search for Page Layouts saved to your Divi Cloud.

  5. (optional) Use the Locations options to narrow your search to Divi Library (locally) or Divi Cloud.

  6. (optional) Check one or multiple Categories to narrow the search results specific to the selected categories

  7. (optional) Use the Tags filter to narrow the search result even more

Note: You can combine the Location, Categories, and Tags filters to pinpoint the exact Page layout you are looking for.

Favorite Premade Layouts

To mark an element (Premade Layout, Page Layout, Section, Row, Module, or Code Snippet) as a favorite, hover over the component and click the heart icon. Now that the element is saved to your Favorites, you can sort them via favorites, old to new, new to old, by name, or elements on the Cloud by clicking the dropdown at the top left of the Library.

Manage Categories

Add a new category or delete one to view all categories (local and on the Cloud).

  1. Click Manage Categories. This will display both Categories (local categories) and Divi Cloud Categories.

  2. Click the Add A New Cloud Category button to add a new category.

  3. Type the name of the new category in the input field.

  4. Click Save Changes to save your work.

Manage Tags

Adding tags to your items helps make them even more organized and searchable.

For example, you could search for elements saved with the category of page layouts and a dark mode tag. That means you’ll be viewing only page layouts designed in dark mode. This will display both Tags (local tags) and Divi Cloud Tags.

  1. Click the Add A New Cloud Tag button to add a new editable tag field to the list.

  2. Type the name of the new tag in the input field.

  3. Make sure to click save changes to save your work.
