A favicon, or favorite icon, is a small but essential element that enhances your website's branding and user experience.
Displayed in the browser tab, bookmarks, and other places, a well-designed favicon helps your site stand out and makes it easily recognizable.
Add a Favicon Image using the Theme Customizer
Log in to your WordPress website
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → General Settings → Site Identity → Site Icon
Click on the Select Site Icon button
Choose the Favicon Image
Click on the Publish button
Note: The Favicon Image should be at least 512x512px and have a 1:1 aspect ratio.

Log in to your WordPress website
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General
Click on the Choose a Site Icon button
Choose the Favicon Image
Click on the Save Changes button
Note: You can try using third-party services, such as App Icon Generator, to create a proper-sized icon file for your site.
