The WordPress Import Tool allows users to import website content directly from WordPress websites and other platforms. In addition to WordPress, you can import content from:
Blogger
Categories and Tags Converter
LiveJournal
Movable Type and TypePad
RSS
Export the Posts and Pages from the old website
Before starting the import, we need to export the data from the second website first.
Login to the website from where the data (posts and pages) you want to be exported and imported to the new WordPress website
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Tools → Export
Choose All Content under the Choose what to export option
Click on the Download Export File button.
This will create a .xml file, which will contain all the data.
Import the Posts and Pages to the new website
Log in to the new website where you want to import the exported content
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Tools → Import
Choose the WordPress option
Select the .xml file, which was created previously with the export
Assign the new content to your current WordPress username.
