Once your Divi Cloud has more than a handful of items, finding what you need takes longer than building from scratch. Categories, tags, and favorites give you three ways to keep things organized so the right item is one filter away.
Categories and tags work the same way they do in the local Divi Library, but Cloud items use their own dedicated Cloud Categories and Cloud Tags lists. Favorites work across both local and Cloud items.
Before you begin
Sign in to Divi Cloud from the Visual Builder. See How to access your Divi Cloud in Divi 5 for the full sign-in steps.
Mark an item as a favorite
Favoriting is the fastest way to keep your most-used items at the top of the list.
Open the Load From Library modal by clicking the Add Layout icon in the left sidebar of the builder.
Click the Saved Layout card.
Hover over the item you want to favorite.
Click the heart icon on the item.
To bring favorites to the top of the list:
Tip: You can favorite premade layouts, page layouts, sections, rows, modules, and code snippets the same way.
Create new Cloud categories and tags
You can create categories and tags directly from the Load From Library sidebar. The steps are the same for both.
In the Load From Library sidebar, click Manage Categories or Manage Tags. The list opens, showing both local and Cloud entries.
Click Add A New Cloud Category (or Add A New Cloud Tag).
Type the name in the input field.
Click Save Changes.
When managing/editing Categories or Tags, you will see two sets of Categories:
Categories - are referring to categories that can be used only locally
Divi Cloud Categories - are referring to categories that are related only to Divi Cloud.
Note: Cloud categories and tags are separate from local Divi Library ones. Items saved to your Cloud only see Cloud categories and tags, even if you have local ones with the same name.
Apply categories and tags to an item
There are two ways to assign a category or tag to a Cloud item:
When you save the item. The save dialog includes a category and tag picker. See How to Save Divi Elements to Divi Cloud for the full save flow.
On an existing item. Right-click the item in the Load From Library modal, or click its three-dots icon, and choose Edit Tags & Categories from the quick actions menu. See the Divi Cloud interface overview in Divi 5 for the full list of quick actions.
Find items using your categories, tags, and favorites
Once your items are categorized and tagged, the sidebar in the Load From Library modal becomes your filter panel:
Use Locations to narrow to My Divi Cloud only.
Tick one or more Categories to limit the list to items in those categories.
Tick one or more Tags to narrow further.
Switch the sort order to Favorites in the top toolbar to push favorited items to the top.
The filters combine, so you can stack them to find a specific item quickly. For the full filter walkthrough, see How to Import Elements from Divi Cloud.
