The Options Group Presets are like element presets, except they can stack on top of elements and be used across all element types to apply a shared style or define your website’s base styles, such as buttons, title text, and body text.
What Are Divi Presets?
In Divi 5, a preset is a collection of styles that can be applied to various elements (modules, columns, rows, and sections). You can modify your default presets to style the foundational elements of your website and create additional presets for specific variations. When a preset is updated, all elements utilizing that preset are simultaneously updated, greatly enhancing the efficiency of designing and managing your websites.
Element Presets vs Option Group Preset
Element Presets
Element Presets are collections of design choices (styles) that can be applied to the same element type.
Example: You can create an element preset for the Text module and change the Background, Text, and Spacing options. However, this preset can only be applied to another Text module(s). You cannot apply an element preset created for the Text module on a Blurb module.
Option Group Presets
The Options Group Presets are just like Element Presets, except they are for individual option groups.
Example: Instead of defining those repeatedly, you can create a title text preset and apply it to any module that supports the Title Text option group. The same goes for background styles, buttons, and other option groups. It’s similar to creating and adding a CSS class to multiple HTML elements.
