How to Import Elements from Divi Library to a Page in Divi 5

Learn how to use the Divi 5's portability system to import page layouts from Divi Library to your pages.

In Divi 5's Library, you can store different types of elements:

  • Full Page Layouts - those will be labeled with the layout type.

  • Sections - those will be labeled with the section types.

  • Rows - those will be labeled with the row types.

  • Modules - those will be labeled with the module types.

Import a full page layout from Divi Library

  1. Open the page to which you want to import the layout with Visual Builder.

  2. Click on the Add Layout icon from the left sidebar.

  3. Choose the Saved Layout option.

  4. Click on the page layout you want to import.

  5. Click the Use This Layout button.

⚠︎ Important Note: If your page already has a layout and you want to keep that in place, make sure that after choosing the layout to be imported from the Divi Library, the Replace Existing Content option is unchecked.

Import a Section Layout from Divi Library

  1. Open the page in Visual Builder.

  2. Click on the Add Section icon .

  3. Select the Add From Library tab.

  4. Select the Section that you want to import.

  5. Click on the Use This Section Button.

Import a Row Layout from Divi Library

  1. Open the page in Visual Builder.

  2. Click on the Add Row icon .

  3. Select the Add From Library tab.

  4. Select the Row that you want to import.

  5. Click on the Use This Row Button.

⚠︎ Note: Rows can only be imported inside sections.

Import a Module from Divi Library

  1. Open the page in Visual Builder.

  2. Click on the Add Module icon .

  3. Select the Add From Library tab.

  4. Select the Module that you want to import.

  5. Click on the Use This Module Button.

⚠︎ Note: Modules can only be imported inside Rows.
