AI Text Generation
All content fields within the Divi Builder contain an AI button.
Open the module's settings to which you want to add Divi AI text
Click the AI icon
and choose Write with AI optionTell Divi what you want it to write about
Click on the Generate Text button
Click on the Use this Text button
Since Divi AI is part of Divi, it knows the module and content field you're working with. We also give it information about your website and context from the current page, which helps it generate more intuitive results.
Divi AI can write headlines, paragraphs, or even entire blog posts.
AI Text Refinement
You can also use prompts to refine and improve existing content. Take any content and tell Divi Ai how you would like to change it.
Open the module's modal settings window to which you want to add Divi AI text
Click the AI button
and choose the Write with AI optionTell Divi what you want it to write about
Click on the Generate Text button
In the Refine Result field, add details on how the generated text should be refined
Click on the Regenerate button
Chose one of the generated results and click on the Use This Text button
Note: You can also use your mouse to select text from within the content field, and Divi AI will only alter that portion of the text.

With Divi AI, you can generate any text content you need for your website. It truly is a powerful AI writer for your Divi website. Because Divi AI understands your existing content, you can generate content in the context of your website or page. This lets you keep your copy on brand and write like a professional.
Generate Text Automatically using Divi AI
Open the module's modal settings window
Click on the Auto Generate Text With AI button
The Divi AI will fill in all the text-based fields depending on the module used. For example, using the Blurb module, the Title and the Body fields will be AI-generated
To confirm the generated AI text, click on the Use This Text button
Content Result options
Note: The Content Result window will differ depending on the modules used. In the example below, the Content Results are for the Blurb module.
Title - The Blurb's title text, generated by Divi AI
Image - The Blurb's Image
Body - The Blurb's body text
Modify with AI
Retry - You can use this option to retry generating a different text content
Improve with AI - Provides you with different options to improve the generated text
Make it Better - Will rewrite the initial generated text
Rephrase - Will rephrase the entire generated text
Lengthen - Will increase the length of the generated text
Shorten - Will shorten the length of the generated text
Simply - Rewrite the text, generating a simplified version of the initial text
Paraphrase - Paraphrases the initial text result in a different way
Fix Spelling & Grammar - Will check and fix any grammar or spelling mistakes
Rewrite For - Rewrite the generated text to make it more accessible for expert or beginner users and make it easier to understand
Translate - Translates the generated text to the language of your choice
Change Tone - Rewrite the generated text using the chosen tone of voice,
Make it more - Rewrite the generated text to include more details, be more descriptive, make it more engaging, or make it more generic
Refine Result - You can use this option to refine the initial results by entering your own prompt
Pro Tip: A second result will be generated based on your selection when the above options are used. At the same time, you can cycle through the initially generated text and the text generated based on your selection.
Generate Text Manually using Divi AI
Note: This is going to use the Blurb Module. Different text-based modules will have different options depending on each module's text fields.
The Blurb module has the following text fields:
Blurb Title
Blurb Body text
Open the module's modal settings window
For the Title field, click on the Divi AI icon
Choose the Write with AI option
Choose Title for the Content type - since this is the Blurb title
Describe the content you want Divi AI to generate. If you are unsure what prompt to use, click the Divi AI button inside the field to see a suggested prompt
Choose the context based on which the text will be generated:
This Page Content (Default) - Divi AI will analyze the entire page content to generate the Blurb's title
This Section Content - Divi AI will only analyze the content of the entire section where the Blurb module is added
This Module Content - Divi AI will only use the Blurb's body text to generate the title's text
No Context - Divi AI will not use any context, and it will only use the prompt. What are you writing about? field.
Click on the Generate Text button
Divi AI Text Generator Options
Inside the Divi AI Text generator modal, you’ll find helpful options that allow you to prompt Divi AI for more specific results. The main top 3 options include the following:
Content Type: You can select the type of content you are writing to give Divi AI a better idea of what to generate. The content types supported include Paragraphs, Titles, Buttons, Blog Posts, Social Media Posts, and more.
What are you Writing About?: This is the main text prompt area where you can describe the content you want Divi AI to generate. Also, if you are not sure what prompts to use, click on the Divi AI icon
to see a suggested prompt to use
Added Context: Because Divi AI can evaluate your existing page content when generating new text, you can choose the level of additional context you want Divi AI to use to create relevant content. If you want to supply Divi AI with the entire page content as context when generating text, you can select This Page Content for the Added Context option. You can also choose to supply Divi AI with context limited to the section content or the module content, or you can choose to supply Divi AI with no context.
Additional Guide Me Options
Under the Guide Me toggle options, you’ll find even more granular options for generating text with AI. These options allow you to select the following prompts:
Tone of Voice – This is great for branding. Tell Divi AI what tone of voice to use when writing the content.
Must Use Keywords – This allows you to add all the keywords you want to be included in the generated content. This is great for SEO, giving you a jumpstart on optimizing content with keywords that help you rank higher in search results.
Content Length – This specifies how long or short you want the content to be.
Language – Choose the language you want Divi AI to write in. Divi can write in over 26 languages.
Revising and Editing Your Text with AI Quick Actions
Divi AI has a ton of handy built-in options for improving your content. With a click of a button, you can fix grammatical mistakes and make content shorter, more engaging, targeted to experts, and more.
Hover over the text input field with the text you want to revise
Click the Divi AI icon
Choose any of the available options in the Quick Actions list
Write & Replace - Rewrite and replace the current text
Make it Better - Rewrite the initial generated text, generating an improved version of the initial text
Rephrase - Rephrase the entire generated text
Lengthen - Increase the length of the generated text
Shorten - Decrease the length of the generated text
Simply - Rewrite the text, generating a simplified version of the initial text
Paraphrase - Paraphrases the initial text result in a different way

Example Use Case: Writing a Blog Post
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Posts → Add New Post
Give your post a title
Enable the Visual Builder by clicking on the Use Divi Builder button
Click on the Add Row icon
Click on the Add Module icon
Insert the Text module
In the Body text field, click on the Divi AI icon
Use the following options:
Content Type: Blog Post
What are you Writing About?: Write a blog post on the most popular interior design styles
Added Context: no context
Tone of Voice: Informative
Must Use Keywords: interior design, minimalist design, interior design styles, contemporary
Content Length: about 1000 words
Click on the Generate Text button
Revise the generated text and click on the Use This Text button.
Note: Once the content is generated, you can generate another version by clicking the Retry button or selecting the Improve With AI toggle to make adjustments easily.
