With DiviMenus Sharing, you get powerful social sharing in a fully Divi-compatible package that is customizable, lightweight, and flexible.
Installation
Install and activate the Divi Theme.
Ensure that the DiviMenu plugin is also installed and activated.
Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins.
Click on the Add New Plugin button.
Click on the Upload Plugin button.
Choose the DiviMenus Sharing zip file.
Click on the Install Now button.
Overview
DiviMenus Sharing is a lightweight, flexible add-on that turns your DiviMenus Menu Items into social sharing buttons.
You can share the current page or a custom URL on a wide range of platforms, and fully control the button style using Divi’s builder and theme tools.
You’re not limited to pre-designed buttons, you get the full styling power of DiviMenus.
Getting Started
Using DiviMenus Sharing is simple:
Open a DiviMenu (or create a new one).
In the Menu Item you want to turn into a social button:
Open the Link settings toggle.
Select the Share link type.
Choose the desired social network from the Share On dropdown.
You can use the Divi Theme Builder to control where these buttons are displayed across your site.
Supported Social Platforms
You can choose one of the following for each button:
All: Opens a popup with all sharing options.
Buffer
Email
Facebook
LinkedIn
Pinterest (if no featured image is available, a default logo will be used)
Reddit
Telegram
Tumblr
Twitter (X) (optionally add your Twitter username)
WhatsApp
Social Sharing Settings
Share URL: If you don’t want to share the current post/page, enter a custom URL in the URL module field.
Share Title: Enable this if you want to override the post title with a custom title. A new input field will appear for entering the title.
Share Message: Control what message is shared along with the URL. Available for: Email, Reddit, Telegram, Twitter, WhatsApp
Choose between:
Post Excerpt
Custom Message
If you choose a custom message, a new field will appear. You can use the following dynamic tags:
%%url%% – replaced with the URL
%%title%% – replaced with the title
Example:
Hey, check out this page: %%url%%.
