The Updates information is split into 4 different tabs:
The Site Updates tab (active by default) displays all the available updates
The Plugins tab displayed only plugin updates
The Themes tab displays only theme updates
The WordPress tab displays only WordPress core updates
Perform updates
On the Site Updates tab, check the Select All checkbox and click the Update Selected button.
If you don't want to update everything at once, you can check the checkbox of each item in the list that you want to update and click on the Update Selected button.
If you want to update only the plugins, themes, or WordPress core, use the related tab (Plugin, Theme, WordPress tab). Similar to the Sites Updates tab, you have the option to update everything at once or select the items that you want to update.
Themes & Plugins card
The Themes & Plugins card is split into 3 tabs:
The Themes tab displays a list of all themes and child themes that are being installed and their status: Active or Inactive, as well as their current version number.
For each theme in the list, you can perform various actions such as Delete and Activate. Keep in mind that WordPress allows only one theme or child theme to be active.
To activate a different theme or child theme, hover over it and click on the Activate button
Note: Clicking on the Trash icon will permanently delete the theme or child theme from your WordPress installation.
The Plugins tab displays a list of all installed plugins, their status: Active or Inactive and their version number. For each plugin in the list, you can perform various actions, such as Delete, Deactivate, or Activate.
The Auto Updates tab displays a toggle button that allows you to enable automatic updates for all themes and plugins.
Enable the toggles to allow you to choose at what interval and at what time you would like to schedule the Auto Updates.
Click on the Gear icon to schedule when the Auto Update should run and to choose which theme and plugin it should run for. You can select/deselect any of the available themes and/or plugins.
Status Report card
The Status Report card offers an overview of your server environment as well as details about which Divi Performance options are enabled. This is a great way to check if the hosting server meets Divi requirements.
Optimization card
The Optimization card offers some quick actions to clean up your database of spam comments, posts, and page revisions and clear the trash.
In addition, it gives you insights into the number of spam comments, posts, and page revisions and the number of posts or pages that exist in the trash.
Clearing them ensures that your database remains as clean as possible.
Important Note: Clearing the Post or Page revisions will lose any revisions that WordPress creates. Usually, revisions are quite useful when issues appear, and they can be used to restore a post or page content to a previous state.
Site Users card
The Users card allows you to easily manage the WordPress site's users directly from Divi Dash.
Clicking on the top right Add User button will display a modal window that you can use to add a new WordPress account.
Besides adding new WordPress users, you can also edit existing ones.
To edit an existing user, hover over any of the existing users and click on the Gear icon
. This will open the Edit User modal window where you can make changes to a particular user.
Note: You can also delete users by hovering over the user you want to delete and clicking on the Trash icon.
You will not be able to delete the Site's Admin username, which has been defined as the Primary WordPress Admin User in the Site Settings
Website Notes card
The Website Notes card can be used to add notes regarding the WordPress site.
Examples:
Notes regarding Design feedback
Notes regarding Content updates
Notes about SEO improvements
