Learn how to use the Divi Gallery Module to display stunning image galleries with customizable layouts and features.

The Divi Gallery Module lets you showcase a gallery of images, ideal for home tours, product displays, portfolios, and more.

Add The Divi Gallery Module

When you load the Visual Builder, Divi automatically adds a Section.

  1. Click the Green Plus icon to insert a Row.

  2. Click the Gray Plus icon inside the Row to open the Divi Module Library. The library contains all the modules included with the Divi theme.

  3. Find the Gallery module and click on it to load the module.
    The module library is also searchable. To access it, type the module name you want in the search bar at the top.

The Divi Gallery Module use cases

  1. Showcasing Product Images: Display multiple product photos in a clean, organized gallery to give customers a comprehensive view of your offerings.

  2. Creating a Portfolio: Present your work, such as design projects or photography, in a visually appealing gallery that highlights your skills and creativity.

  3. Highlighting Events: Share images from events like conferences, workshops, or social gatherings, allowing visitors to relive the experience through a curated photo gallery.

Gallery Module Settings Breakdown

Once you've added the Gallery module, the module settings automatically pop up. This is where this module's content and design styles are configured. These settings are organized into three groups via the tabs at the top of the module:

The Content tab

The Content tab allows you to select the images that the Gallery module will display, their order, the number displayed per page, and more.

  1. Images - Choose the images to be displayed, their order, and the number of images per page.

  2. Elements - Choose to display or remove the Image's title, caption, and pagination text.

  3. Link - Make the entire Gallery module clickable, creating a seamless way to direct users to another page, section, or external site.

  4. Background - Choose the Gallery module's background styles.

  5. Admin Label - Choose the Gallery module's label text to assist you in keeping things organized and easy to understand in the Visual Builder.


The Design tab

All the design styles and options for the Gallery module are in this tab.

  1. Layout - Choose the Gallery module's layout:

    • Grid

    • or Slider.

  2. Overlay - Choose the Gallery module's Post Image overlay styles.

  3. Image - Choose the style for the Project's Featured Images.

  4. Text - Choose the overall Gallery module's text styles for this module.

  5. Title Text - Choose the Gallery module's title styles.

  6. Caption Text - Choose the Gallery module's body text styles.

  7. Pagination Text - Choose the Pagination text's styles.

  8. Sizing - Choose the Gallery module's sizing.

  9. Spacing - Choose the Gallery module's spacing.

  10. Border - Choose the Gallery module's border styles.

  11. Box Shadow - Choose the Gallery module's Box Shadow styles.

  12. Filters - Choose the Gallery module's filters such as hue shifts, saturation changes, and blending modes.

  13. Transform - Choose the Gallery module's advanced design effects, such as scaling, rotating, skewing, and translating.

  14. Animation - Choose the Gallery module's animation styles adding personality and interactivity while keeping a polished, professional feel.


The Advanced tab

The Advanced tab provides tools for experienced designers, including options for adding CSS IDs and Classes, controlling visibility, managing transitions, adjusting element positions, and creating scroll effects.

  1. CSS ID & Classes - Allows you to assign unique identifiers or reusable labels to modules, enabling advanced custom styling through your child theme’s stylesheet or Divi’s custom CSS settings.

  2. Custom CSS - Allows you to add custom CSS code to fine-tune your Gallery module, enabling advanced styling that perfectly aligns with your vision.

  3. Conditions - Allows you to create dynamic, personalized content, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.

  4. Visibility - Choose the Gallery's module visibility based on different devices.

  5. Transitions - Choose how long Gallery's module animation takes, adding subtle, impactful animations that enhance user experience and make your modules stand out.

  6. Position - Choose precise control of the Gallery's module placement and create dynamic, visually engaging designs.

  7. Scroll Effects - Control how the Gallery module behaves and transforms during scrolling.

Save your changes and exit the Visual Builder

To save the page design, you can type CMD + S on a Mac or CTRL + S on a PC.

You can also:

  1. Click on the Save button.

  2. Click on the Exit button.
