Updated over a week ago

The Text design options in Divi let you style the overall text in a module, including alignment and shadow effects. While these settings apply to all text within the module, you can fine-tune specific text styles in toggles like Title Text, Closed Title Text, and Body Text.

Where to Find the Text Options

  1. Open the Module Settings: Click the gear icon or the module itself to access the settings.

  2. Go to the Design Tab: Within the Design tab, locate the Text option group.

Text Customization Settings

  1. Text Alignment: Set the alignment for all text in the module. Options include:

    • Left

    • Center

    • Right

    • Justify

  2. Text Shadow: Apply a drop shadow to all text in the module. When selected, the shadow will apply to all text, including both the title and the content.

    Customize the text shadow:

    • Direction: Adjust horizontal and vertical offsets.

    • Blur Strength: Set how sharp or soft the shadow appears.

    • Shadow Color: Choose a color that complements your design.

Best Practices for Using Text Design Options

  • Consistency: Use alignment settings that match your overall design for readability.

  • Enhance Contrast: Apply subtle text shadows to improve text visibility against the background.

  • Balance Effects: Avoid overusing shadows to maintain a clean and professional look.

These text settings provide a quick way to style the overall typography of your module while keeping the flexibility to adjust specific text elements as needed.
