The Divi Comments Module lets you style and customize the comments section, place it anywhere in your layout, and boost engagement on your posts.

Add The Divi Comments Module

When you load the Visual Builder, Divi automatically adds a Section.

  1. Click the Green Plus icon to insert a Row.

  2. Click the Gray Plus icon inside the Row to open the Divi Module Library, which contains all the modules included with the Divi theme.

  3. Find the Comments module and click on it to load the module.
    The module library is also searchable. Type the module name you want in the search bar at the top.

The Divi Comments Module use cases:

  1. Custom Blog Post Templates: Incorporate the Comments Module into custom blog post templates to control the placement and design of the comment section, enhancing user interaction.

  2. Product Feedback Sections: Add the Comments Module to product pages to gather customer reviews and feedback directly, fostering community engagement and trust.

  3. Event Pages: Include a comment section on event pages to facilitate discussions, answer questions, and share updates, improving attendee communication.

Once you've added the Comments module, the module settings automatically pop up. This is where this module's content and design styles are configured. These settings are organized into three groups via the tabs at the top of the module:

The Content tab

The Content tab lets you manage the Divi Comments Module, show or hide form elements, set a module link, customize the background, and more.

  1. Elements -

  2. Link - Make the entire Comments module clickable, creating a seamless way to direct users to another page, section, or external site.

  3. Background - Choose the Comments module's background styles.

  4. Admin Label - Choose the Comments module's label text to assist you in keeping things organized and easy to understand in the Visual Builder.


The Design tab

All the design styles and options for the Comments module are in this tab.

  1. Fields - Choose the Comments Form fields styles.

  2. Image - Choose the design styles for the Avatar Image.

  3. Text - Choose the overall Comments module's text styles for this module.

  4. Comment Count Text - Choose the Comments Count text styles.

  5. Form Title Text - Choose the Comment's Form Title text styles.

  6. Meta Text - Choose the comment's Meta Text styles.

  7. Comment Text - Choose the Comment's Text Area styles.

  8. Button - Choose the Comments module's button design styles.

  9. Sizing - Choose the Comments module's sizing.

  10. Spacing - Choose the Comments module's spacing.

  11. Border - Choose the Comments module's border styles.

  12. Box Shadow - Choose the Comments module's Box Shadow styles.

  13. Filters - Choose the Comments module's filters such as hue shifts, saturation changes, and blending modes.

  14. Transform - Choose the Comments module's advanced design effects, such as scaling, rotating, skewing, and translating.

  15. Animation - Choose the Comments module's animation styles, adding personality and interactivity while keeping a polished, professional feel.


The Advanced tab

The Advanced tab provides tools for experienced designers, including options for adding CSS IDs and Classes, controlling visibility, managing transitions, adjusting element positions, and creating scroll effects.

  1. CSS ID & Classes - Allows you to assign unique identifiers or reusable labels to modules, enabling advanced custom styling through your child theme’s stylesheet or Divi’s custom CSS settings.

  2. Custom CSS - Allows you to add custom CSS code to fine-tune your Comments module, enabling advanced styling that perfectly aligns with your vision.

  3. Conditions - Allows you to create dynamic, personalized content, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.

  4. Visibility - Choose the Comments module visibility based on different devices.

  5. Transitions - Choose how long Comments's module animation takes, adding subtle, impactful animations that enhance user experience and make your modules stand out.

  6. Position - Choose precise control of the Comments's module placement and create dynamic, visually engaging designs.

  7. Scroll Effects - Control how the Comments module behaves and transforms during scrolling.

Save your changes and exit the Visual Builder

To save the page design, you can type CMD + S on a Mac or CTRL + S on a PC.

You can also:

  1. Click on the Save button.

  2. Click on the Exit button.
