The Accordion Module in Divi allows you to present information in a compact, user-friendly format, ideal for FAQs and similar content.

Here's how to add, edit, and remove accordion items in Divi.

Adding an Accordion Item

  1. Open the Accordion module settings: Click on the Accordion module on your page or click on the Gear icon to open its settings.

  2. Add New Item: In the Accordion Module settings β†’ Content tab, click Add New Accordion Item. This action opens a new accordion item where you can input your content.

  3. Configure Content: Enter the title and body content for your accordion item. You can also customize design settings such as background color, text style, and icons.

  4. Return to the main Accordion's module setting: click the Arrow icon at the top left corner of the module window.

Editing an Accordion Item

  1. Access the Accordion Module: Click on the Accordion module on your page or click on the Gear icon to open its settings.

  2. Edit Item: Click the Gear icon next to the specific accordion item to open its settings.

  3. Modify Content and Design: Update the title, body content, or any design settings as needed.

Removing an Accordion Item

  1. Open the Accordion Module: Click on the Accordion module on your page or click on the Gear icon to open its settings.

  2. Delete Item: Click the Trash iconnext to the accordion item to delete it.

Additional Tips

  • Default Open State: By default, the first accordion item is open. To have all items closed initially, you can add a code module with specific jQuery code to adjust this behavior.

  • Custom Styling: Utilize Divi's design settings to customize the appearance of your accordion items, including fonts, colors, and spacing.
