Learn about the Themes tab, which offers a complete overview of all the theme updates available across all the WordPress added to Divi Dash.

The Themes tab offers a complete overview of all the WordPress themes installed on all WordPress sites added to Divi Dash.

Divi Dash - Themes tab

At the top of the Themes tab, click on the Update All Themes button to update all themes used on all WordPress sites.

Below that, different filtering options are available to filter the list of available themes based on the following filters:

  • The Search Field is used to filter the list of themes based on the searched keyword

  • The Star icon filters all the favorite themes. When clicked, it shows only the themes that were marked as favorites

  • The Themes Status dropdown

    • Any Status displays all the themes

    • Active Status displays a list of active themes across all WordPress sites

    • Inactive Status displays a list of inactive themes across all WordPress sites

  • The Websites Tag dropdown displays a list of themes that are only installed on the WordPress sites tagged with the selected tag

  • The Client dropdown displays a list of themes that are only installed on the WordPress sites assigned to the selected client.

Note: When using the Search field, the Star filter, Status filter, Website Tag filter, or Client filter, the number of Themes, Parent Themes, Child Themes, and Theme with Updates will change to reflect the number of sites that meet the filtering criteria.

Below the Filtering options, you will get a breakdown of the total number of Themes, Parent, Child, and Themes with Updates.

Each of the 4 number tabs is clickable, offering you a more in-depth view of each theme.

The Themes tab

It displays a list of the installed themes across all WordPress sites that were added to Divi Dash.

For each theme in the list, you can see the number of sites where it is installed and how many updates are available β€” this depends on how many websites it has been installed on and whether updates are available.

Clicking on the Chevron iconwill offer more details about the selected theme.

  1. The site(s) name where the theme is installed

  2. The site(s) URL where the theme is installed

  3. The theme's status can be Active or Inactive. If the selected theme is not the active theme on a particular website, you will have the option to activate it

  4. The theme's version number on each website where it has been installed. If one of the websites has an outdated theme version, you can update it by clicking on the Update All button.

The Parent Themes tab

It displays a list of the installed themes with a child theme across all WordPress sites that were added to Divi Dash.

For each theme in the list, you can see the number of sites where a particular parent theme is installed and how many updates are available β€” this depends on how many websites a particular parent theme has been installed on and whether updates are available.

  1. The site(s) name where the parent theme is installed

  2. The site(s) URL where the parent theme is installed

  3. The parent theme's status can be Active or Inactive.

  4. The parent theme's version number on each website where it is installed

  5. If one of the websites has an outdated parent theme version, you can update it by clicking on the Update All button.

The Child Themes tab

It displays a list of the installed child themes across all WordPress sites that were added to Divi Dash.

For each child theme in the list, you can see the number of sites where a particular child theme is installed

  1. The child theme's name

  2. The number of WordPress sites that have the child theme installed

  3. Label

  4. If the child theme is inactive, you can delete it by clicking on the Delete Inactive Instances button. This will delete the child theme from all WordPress sites where it is installed

  5. The site's name where the child theme is installed

  6. The site's URL where the child theme is installed

  7. The child theme's status can be Active - the child theme is the active theme or Inactive - the child theme is not the active theme

The Themes with Updates tab

It displays a list of the installed child themes across all WordPress sites that were added to Divi Dash.

For each child theme in the list, you can see the number of sites where a particular child theme is installed

  1. The name of the theme that has an update available

  2. The number of WordPress sites where the theme is installed

  3. The number of updates available. If the same outdated theme is installed on different WordPress sites, the number of updates will reflect the total number of sites that have the theme installed.

  4. Click on the Update All button will update all instances of the theme across all WordPress sites where the theme is installed

  5. The site's name where the theme is installed

  6. The site's URL where the theme is installed

  7. The theme's status can display Active if the theme is active or inactive if the theme is not active

  8. The theme's current version number is shown, and if it is outdated, the latest available version is also shown.

Important Note: It is always recommended to ensure that everything (plugins, themes, and WordPress core) is up to date.
