The Woo Product Description Module (Divi 5)

Learn how to use the Woo Product Description module in Divi 5 to display short or long product descriptions anywhere.

The Woo Product Description module in Divi 5 lets you display either the short or long description of a product within your custom layouts. You can place the content anywhere on your product page or landing page and style it to match your design. This gives you complete control over how and where product details appear, beyond the default WooCommerce layout.

Note: Before you can use the Divi Woo Product Description module, you'll need to have WooCommerce installed on your website.

Add The Divi Woo Product Description

  1. Click the Green Plus icon to insert a Row.

  2. Click the Gray Plus icon inside the Row, which will show the list of all available Divi modules.

  3. Open the WooCommerce folder.

  4. Find the Woo Product Description module and click on it to load it. Alternatively, you can use the Search option to find it.

Woo Product Description Module Settings Breakdown

Once you've added the Woo Product Description module, its settings will automatically appear. This is where this module's content and design styles are configured. These settings are organized into three groups via the tabs at the top of the module:

The Content tab

The Content tab allows you to add the module's text content, change its background styles, and more.

  1. Content - Choose the content of the Woo Product Description module.

    • Product - Choose which product is used.

    • Description type - Choose the description's text type.

      • Short Description - Displays the product's short description text.

  3. Background - Choose the Woo Product Description module's background styles.

  6. Admin Label - Select the Woo Product Description module's label text to help you keep things organized and easy to understand in the Visual Builder.
