The Elements options let you control which post details and meta information are displayed, such as the featured image, author, and categories.

These settings help you fine-tune the appearance and functionality of your blog feed.

Where to Find the Elements Options

  1. Open the Module Settings: Click the gear icon or the module itself to access the settings.

  2. Navigate to the Content Tab: Locate the Elements option group.

Elements Option Overview

  1. Show Featured Image: Toggle to show or hide the featured image for each post.

  2. Show Read More Button: Toggle to show or hide the "Read More" button below each post excerpt.

  3. Show Author: Toggle to display or hide the author’s name in the meta text.

  4. Show Date: Toggle to show or hide the publication date in the meta text.

  5. Show Categories: Toggle to show or hide the categories associated with the post in the meta text.

  6. Show Comment Count: Toggle to display or hide the number of comments on each post in the meta text.

  7. Show Excerpt: Toggle to show or hide the post excerpt.

  8. Show Pagination: Toggle to show or hide the pagination links at the bottom of the module, which allows you to navigate between pages of posts.

Tips for Using Elements Options

  • Streamline Your Feed: For a clean layout, display only the most relevant elements, such as the featured image and excerpt.

  • Meta Text Customization: Use Show Author, Show Date, and Show Categories selectively to provide context without overcrowding the design.

  • Guide Readers: Ensure the Show Read More Button is enabled to encourage visitors to view full posts.

  • Improve Navigation: Enable Show Pagination for multi-page blog feeds to enhance user experience.
