The Woo Checkout Information Module (Divi 5)

Learn how to use the Woo Checkout Information module in Divi 5 to add an order notes field and style it anywhere on checkout pages.

The Woo Checkout Information module gives you control over the optional order notes field during checkout. Instead of relying on WooCommerce’s default placement, you can position this field anywhere in your checkout design.

Customers can use it to leave comments such as delivery preferences or customization requests.

You can style the field’s label, input area, and surrounding section so it blends seamlessly with the rest of your layout while keeping the checkout process clear and professional.

Note: Before you can use the Woo Checkout Information module, you’ll need to have WooCommerce installed and activated on your website.

Add the Woo Checkout Information Module

  1. Click the Green Plus icon to insert a Row.

  2. Click the Gray Plus icon inside the Row, which will show the list of all available Divi modules.

  3. Open the WooCommerce folder.

  4. Find the Woo Checkout Information module and click on it to load it. Alternatively, you can use the Search option to find it.

The Woo Checkout Information Module Use Cases

  1. Custom Cart Pages: Replace the default WooCommerce cart with a styled cart layout that matches your store’s branding.

  2. Sidebar Mini-Cart: Add the module in a global sidebar so customers can quickly view their selected items while browsing.

Woo Checkout Information Module Settings Breakdown

Once you've added the Woo Checkout Information module, its settings will automatically appear. This is where this module's content and design styles are configured. These settings are organized into three groups via the tabs at the top of the module:

The Content tab

The Content tab allows you to add the module's text content, change its background styles, and more.

  1. Elements - Choose to display or hide the module's title.

  2. Background - Choose the Woo Checkout Information module's background styles.

  3. Loop - Enables the loop builder.

  4. Order - Choose the Flexbox order of the module.

  5. Admin Label - Select the Woo Checkout Information module's label text to help you keep things organized and easy to understand in the Visual Builder.
