The Divi Pagination Module (Divi 5)

The Divi Pagination Module lets users navigate seamlessly between blog posts or projects with previous and next links.

This module is ideal for improving user experience by keeping visitors engaged and encouraging them to explore more content.

Add The Divi Pagination Module

When you load the Visual Builder, Divi automatically adds a Section.

  1. Click the Green Plus icon to insert a Row.

  2. Click the Gray Plus icon inside the Row, which will show the list of all available Divi modules.

  3. Find the Pagination module and click on it to load it. Alternatively, you can use the Search option to find it.

The Divi Pagination Module Use Cases

  1. Navigating Blog Posts: Place the module at the bottom of a single blog post to help readers move seamlessly to the next or previous article, keeping them engaged on your site.

  2. Exploring Case Studies: Use the module in a portfolio or case study section to guide visitors through related projects without leaving the page.

  3. Loop Navigation: Place the Pagination module after a Loop to allow the visitors to browse through different looped content.

Pagination Module Settings Breakdown

Once you've added the Pagination module, the module settings automatically pop up. This is where this module's content and design styles are configured. These settings are organized into three groups via the tabs at the top of the module:

The Content tab

The Content tab allows you to customize the text of the Previous and Next links, select the type of navigation, select background styling options, and more.

  1. Target - Choose which type of target the Pagination should use:

    • Main Query - Choose this if you want to browse between different posts or pages

    • Looped Element - This can be a Section, Row, Column, or module, depending on which element the Loop builder was used on.

  2. Text - Define the text used for the Next and Previous links.

  3. Categories - Choose if the navigation should loop through posts of the same categories or all published posts.

  4. Navigation - Choose which links are visible.

  5. Background - Choose the Pagination module's background styles.

  6. Order - Choose the order of the module in a flexbox layout.

  7. Admin Label - Choose the Pagination module's label text to assist you in keeping things organized and easy to understand in the Visual Builder.

  1. Links Text- Choose the Pagination module's links text styles.

  2. Sizing - Choose the Pagination module's sizing.

  3. Spacing - Choose the Pagination module's spacing.

  4. Border - Choose the Pagination module's border styles.

  5. Box Shadow - Choose the Pagination module's Box Shadow styles.

  6. Filters - Choose the Pagination module's filters, such as hue shifts, saturation changes, and blending modes.

  7. Transform - Choose the Pagination module's advanced design effects, such as scaling, rotating, skewing, and translating.

  8. Animation - Choose the Pagination module's animation styles.


The Advanced tab

The Advanced tab provides tools for experienced designers, including options for adding CSS IDs and Classes, controlling visibility, managing transitions, adjusting element positions, and creating scroll effects.

  1. CSS ID & Classes - Allows you to assign unique CSS ID or reusable CSS classes, enabling advanced custom styling through your child theme’s stylesheet or Divi’s custom CSS settings.

  2. Custom CSS - Allows you to add custom CSS code to fine-tune your Pagination module, enabling advanced styling that perfectly aligns with your vision.

  3. Conditions - Allows you to create dynamic, personalized content, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.

  4. Interactions - Create custom interactions, such as showing or hiding the Icon List module, and many more.

  5. Visibility - Choose the Pagination module visibility based on different devices.

  6. Transitions - Choose how long Pagination's module animation takes, adding subtle, impactful animations that enhance user experience and make your modules stand out.

  7. Position - Choose precise control of the Pagination module placement and create dynamic, visually engaging designs.

  8. Scroll Effects - Control how the Pagination module behaves and transforms during scrolling.

To save the page design, you can type CMD + S on a Mac or CTRL + S on a PC.
